Clarence Eugene Hylton Jr.

Clarence Eugene Hylton, Jr. age 60, of Lancaster, SC, passed away on November 28, 2020 at his home in Lancaster. Born on May 3, 1960 in Richlands, VA, he was the son of the late Clarence Eugene Hylton, Sr. and Barbara Powers Hylton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Hylton. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 29 years, Rita Ellison Hylton; daughters, Felicia Glover (Tyler), Brandie Hylton (Manny), and Samantha Hylton; son, Clarence Eugene “CJ” Hylton, III (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Asher, Tidus and Clary Hylton; sister, Bobbie Garten (Jay), and nephews, Derrick and Cole Garten.

Clarence was a Veteran of the United States Army. He loved his West Virginia Mountaineers, cheering for them in basketball and football. He had a passion for the outdoors and NASCAR.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in the Faith Mausoleum of Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

In accordance with the current CDC guidelines, the family and the staff of Blue Ridge Funeral Home ask that those who attend the services wear proper facial coverings and practice social distancing at all times.
