Conard Crockett Richardson

Born May 11, 1919 in Bryson, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Druary Richardson and Nancy Brooks Richardson. Conard served in the U.S. Army during WWII where he was stationed in Morocco, North Africa, Sicily and Italy. Mr. Richardson retired from Long-Airdox Company at Oak Hill, WV after 35 years of service. He lived and worked in Oklahoma, Texas and Indiana before returning to Oak Hill, WV in 1964 where he retired in 1982. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, preceded Conard in death is his wife, Eunice Richarson; sisters, Cynthia Snuffer, Ora Mullins and Garnet Parson; brothers, Arnel Richardson and Basil Richardson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Phillip Richardson and wife Margaret of Parkersburg; daughter, Judith Rathbone and husband John of Ellijay, GA; grandsons, Aaron Rathbone of Marietta, GA, and James Richardson and wife Missy of Waverly, WV; granddaughters, Shannon Reigle and husband Chad of Carlisle, PA, and Anna Rathbone of Dahlonega, GA; 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may gather with the family Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home from 10-11am.

Funeral service will be held 11am, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Kuhn officiating.

Burial will follow with military rites at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
