Curtis "Silky" Harold Leftwich

CURTIS HAROLD LEFTWICH “SILKY” Curtis Harold Leftwich, “Silky” 84, of Beckley passed away Monday, February 23, 2015. Born February 19, 1931 in Jenkin Jones, WV he was a son of the late Oscar and Nannie English Leftwich. Mr. Leftwich was a Retired Chef from Shock and Skeens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Timmons and Christine and two brothers, James Leftwich and Joseph Hackett. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Mollie Lacy Leftwich; 12 children, Theresa and Lloyd Roberts of Columbus, OH, Curtis Lacy of Beckley, David and Loretta Lacy of Charleston, Anthony Page of Columbus, OH, Gerald Brown of Columbus, OH, Samuel Lacy of Columbus, OH, Priscilla Wolford of Columbus, OH, and Anna and Thomas Hancock of Columbus, OH; four step-children, “the Page family”; 52 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Curtis Harold Leftwich will be held 2:00PM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Faith Temple, 119 Degans Street, Beckley with Bishop Tunstalle officiating.
