David Cecil Fox, 56 of Oak Hill passed away Friday, May 27, 2016. He was born February 18, 1960 at Oak Hill. He enlisted in the Army in 1977 and was honorably discharged in 1980. He was a five year member of AA in Oak Hill. David enjoyed wood working, reading, loved animals and was a history buff. He was preceded in death by his father, Manfred Fox and Grandmother, Ruth Dempsey. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Samantha Fox of Florida and Jenny Fox of Florida; sister, Peggy Garris and husband James of Rogersville, TN; special cousin, Melonie Lawhorn of Oak Hill; four grandchildren. The family wishes to thank his dear cousin and caregiver Melonie Lawhorn who in their hearts is their baby sister. A private memorial service will follow at a later date.
