David Earl Wright passed away August 22nd at 1:30 am at Hospice House at Cranberry. He was born on April 30, 1945 in Bolt, WV. He is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Eleanor; two children, Michael, Michele and her husband Kyle; two grandsons, John and his wife Stephanie and Kevin; two great grandchildren, Jaxtan and Jazylnn. He is preceded in death by his father Sam, his mother Gladys, two sisters, Janice and Sue, and the wife of his son Michael, Jay. David worked 34 years in and around the coal mines. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had many friends who loved and respected him. If someone was in need they called upon David, no matter the day or hour he was always there. David loved his family and worked long hours to provide for them. He will always live in our hearts and in our minds. Graveside service will held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 12:00 pm. In keeping with current health requirements all guests must wear facial coverings.
