He was a son of the late Van S. and the late Emma M. Hodge Thompson.
He was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Aubrey, Kathy, and Valerie.
He is survived by his siblings, Calais (Sue) Thompson and Vanessa Thompson; and his children, Lora Hosey Fisher, Natalie Thompson, and Nathan Thompson.
Family and friends will gather from 12PM until 1PM Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home followed by Graveside Rites with Military Honors at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
