Debra Darlene Hale

Debra married her childhood sweetheart, Michael William Hale, at the age of 16, and they were happily married for 54 years. The couple was blessed with two wonderful children, Michael Hale II of Bluefield and Brandy Dawn Hale of Beckley; and a daughter-in-law, Daynelle Hale.

Debra was a businesswoman for 25 years in Mullens, WV, where she owned and operated the Movie Store, which was the first movie rental store in Wyoming County. Additionally, Debra enjoyed traveling, gardening, and all water-related recreation.

In keeping with her wishes, a Private Service to celebrate her life was held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, and entombment followed in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Chapel of Faith.
