Delores Coffey Gragg

Delores Coffey Gragg, “Hon”, joined her Heavenly Father and husband, Gordon Donald Gragg on Tuesday, November 20th. Delores, one of fourteen children, was born on April 8, 1928 in Roseborogh, Avery County, NC to the late Sherman & Beunia Coffey. Married 56 years, she was a dedicated housewife raising her four children in a Loving Christian Home.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory are her son, Donald Roger Gragg of Shady Spring, WV; daughter, Donna Covey & husband Don of Lenoir, NC; daughter Rita Meek & husband, Dennis of Boone, NC and son Timothy K. Gregg & wife Shannon of Hudson, NC. Also, sisters, Mildred Holland of Goldsboro, NC; Lorene Corley & husband Bill of Hudson, NC; Carolyn Morgan & husband Dave of Matthews, NC. Granddaughters: Denise Renee Covey Williams & husband David of Hudson, NC; Dawn Marie Gragg Dawson & husband Travis of Richmond, VA; April Sizemore Leftwich & husband Chris of Beckley; Amber Sizemore of Beckley; Danyel Gilbert of Hudson, NC and Amber Miller of Granite, NC. Grandsons: Donald Covey, II & wife, Courtney of Lenoir, NC; Donald Roger Gragg Jr. & partner Olivia Berkle of Shady Spring; Cody Miller, Servicing our Nation in the Air Force in Korea; Zack Miller of Charlotte, NC and Tanner Miller of Hudson, NC; 5 Great Granddaughters & 4 Great Grandsons; and countless loving nieces & nephews.

“Hon” was preceeded in death by brothers, Cuba Coffey, Willie Coffey, Horace Coffey and sisters Ollie Hollander, Onie Coffey, Cordelia Coffey, Cenie Coffey, Molly Jones, Colleen Annas, and Doris Setzer.

A graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Scott Lester held in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Sunday, November 25th at 12:30 pm. Special music will be by great-granddaughter, Amber Williams & Friends.

Family & friends are welcome to visit at the Gragg home after the service. Pallbearers will be Donald Roger Gragg, Jr., Donald Covey, II, Travis Dawson, Josh Greene, and Dennis Meek.
