Donald Ted Farley

Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army for 3 years. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing, hunting, looking for ginseng, camping and spending time with his family. He loved going to church and mostly loved God with all his heart. He had such a desire for all to give their hearts to the Lord so they would be saved.

Donald joins his parents, Ted & Faye and his first wife, Linda Farley in heaven.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Brenda Farley of Ury, WV; one daughter and her husband, Renee & Levi Moore of Beaver WV; one son and his wife, Donnie & Diane Farley of Crab Orchard, WV; one step-daughter and her husband, Annie & Steve Shrewsbury of Helen WV; one step-son and his wife, John & Jennifer Shrewsbury of Nashville TN. And … his crazy cat, Doofus.

Donald had 8 grandchildren, Denae, Jenna, Jerica, Courtney, Brooke, Dani, Emma, Alex and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy & Clarence “C.E.” Bays of Beckley WV and Karen Fish of Ruskin FL along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

The family would like to express their gratitude for all the wonderful people that assisted him during his illness. There will be no service per the wishes of Donald and Blue Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery is honored to serve the family of Donald T. Farley.
