Donald Gene Miller

Donald Gene Miller of Beckley, father, friend and businessman, left this earth September 30, 2015 to be with his Lord and family. Born February 25, 1937, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Lora Miller. He was the owner of Eppy’s Drug Store. Don was a dedicated family man and staunch Mountaineer. He loved his community and devoted much of his time and efforts to promote this state that he cherished. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his son Gregory James Miller and wife Ruth Ann Miller, his brothers John, Archie, Orville and Ed, and sister Maxine. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved fiancé Beth Hoback; sons Donald G. Miller Jr and wife Lisa of Charleston, SC; Jeffrey Brian Miller and wife Karen of Medford, NJ; Christopher Todd Miller and wife Leslie of Parkersburg, WV; daughter, Mary Beth Wade and husband Matthew of Daniels, WV; brother, James Miller and wife Larrie of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Lindsay Rae Schooler, Caitlyn Rose Miller, Amanda Marie Hartwell-Miller, Brittany Michelle Hartwell-Miller, Brooke Elizabeth Miller, Parker Gregory Miller, Grant Christopher Miller, Maria Nicole Bacho, John Mark Bacho II, Dominic Miller Bacho and great grandchild Rosie Rae Schooler. Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at 12:00 PM, Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley, WV with Pastor Mike Sisson officiating.
