

Ann was born on July 7, 1934, at Willis Branch; she was a daughter of the late Harold Davis and the late Mattie Gillespie Davis.
Ann had a very special gift of caring for others; she always showed compassion and love to those who needed it. She was a former member of Calvary Assembly of God on Sunset Drive and later following moving to Greystone she attended Faith Community Church. She was a dedicated employee of Colony Drug for 28 years, where she loved working with her Colony family and caring for her community.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by the father of her children, her first husband of 52 years, Raymond Kidd; her second husband of 10 years, David Aliff; son, John Eric Kidd; a sister, Mildred Humphrey; a brother, Donald Davis; and a daughter-in-law, Lory Kidd.
Those left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy include her loving son, Harold Dean Kidd of Parkersburg; a daughter, Debra Bush and husband, Karl of Hanahan, SC; granddaughter, Michelle Barrett and husband, Bob; grandsons, Jason Blosser and wife, Ashley, Nicholas Colaizzi Kidd and wife, Marissa, and Jonathan Kidd; great-grandchildren, Amber Dove, Tyler Barrett, Kaitlyn Barrett, Dylan Barrett, Brayden Blosser, Adalynn Blosser, Claire Colaizzi Kidd, and Dean Colaizzi Kidd; sister-in-law, Betty Davis; extended family and friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Ann Kidd will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, Pastor Sam Peterson at Faith Community Church will be officiating. Following the service, Ann will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Raymond, at the Pax Community Cemetery, Pax, WV. Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
Friends may gather with the family from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
