Dr Chhabra who happened to be my Brother in law was a wondeful man, a good friend and and a very good physician. His jovial nature made everyone smile. I remember him since his graduation from medical school. He was a family man and devoted quality time to his children .Who are now well educated and nice human beings. I remember his face driving a scooter to his medical school. He had a dog when he was in India named "Panther". He trained the dog who used to bring the newspaper to him from the door to his bed side. The dog missed him when he left for USA to study further.His hard work in emergency room and working continuossly for 16to 18 hours and even on weekends made him a hero. He has left behind many memories. May god bless his soul.

I worked with Dr Chhabra at Summers County Hospital. I was always in awe of the peace and tranquility that surrounded him when he entered the Emergency Room to encounter some of the most severe injuries or illnesses. He was always calm,polite,and in command. He was a pleasure to work with and know.

My deepest sympathy to the Chhabra family.  He meant a lot to our family.  He gave excellent care and support for my parents for many years until their passing.  Best doctor I have ever had.  He will be greatly missed.

It was a privilege to work ER with Dr Chhabra for 7 years. He became my friend and family physician for myself and 6 other family members. He showed compassion to all in his care.  His presence will be greatly missed in Summers County.

I'd never met Dr Chhabra until the night my mom passed away at Summers County ARH. I will never forget his kindness, patience and obvious sympathy while telling me what had happened to mom that night and our options. I'm sure his loss will be felt by many. It was an absolute honor to work with Dr Chhabra at Summers Nursing. I know he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Dr. Chhabra recently attended our father/father-in-law for his 5 year battle with cancer.  He could not have been more professional, more considerate, or more compassionate.    He will be missed.   Our prayers are with the family and friends and his practice.

My heart felt condolences to the Chhabra family. This is a very deep and heavy loss. Amarinder was such a loving man. He had a kind word for everyone. His enthusiasm to learn continuously and share his knowledge generously at anytime with anyone was one of his commendable virtues. Words cannot begin to express how heart broken me and my family are to have learned of Andy's passing. He is a dear friend of ours he was a very caring and devoted doctor and family man. He started work at the Oceana Medcal Center with me in 1995 to 1998. He was always eager to learn new things and start utilizing it right away. We had a very good time in Wyoming County watching his kids grow. We had great times jumping on the trampoline and playing basketball. Andy was a wonderful human being and a good soul. He will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. We pray that God cradles his family in the palm of his hands and keep them thru this most difficult time. Andy has been a close friend since 1983, an excellent human being, an excellent doctor and always bubbling with energy. He was driving our academic group also. This is a big loss for all his classmates. May his soul rest in peace. Praying for strength to his family.

Amarinder was my classmate at medical school. His smile was ever-present. His pleasant demeanor and sense of humour were very endearing. I will never forget the sight of him on his little scooter that was a bit small for his substantial frame. After many years I met him again in early 2014 as 'Andy' at our almamater in Ludhiana. He fooled me as initially I didn't  recognize him. But his naughty smile gave him away. Everyone in the batch of 1983 loved him. We will miss you! Our heart goes out to his lovely family. I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Chhabra was a wonderful physician but more than that he was a caring and compassionate man that truly cared for each patient as a person not just a patient. Love and Prayers.

This was the most shocking and very sad news for me for a long time. Dr.Chhabra was a good man, good doctor and dearly loved family friend. My little girls Abby and Tasha loved him and called him "chachu", meaning uncle in hindi language. Summer's County has lost a very good doctor. This is a personal loss to us, the Naik and Richmond families. We all deeply mourn Dr.Chhabra's death. Our deepest sympathies to his wife Jaswinder, sons Jay and Steven and all his family. I absolutely loved this kind heartwarming person, he was a God sent to my mother and myself. I will miss him terribly, may God wrap his loving arms around him.

So sorry for the loss of such a fine man and doctor. He was always so kind and greeted each one with a smile.  I had the pleasure of working with him for several years at Summers County ARH Hospital and he will be sorely missed by so many associates and patients. Love and prayers to his family .

There was never a time that I saw Dr. Chhabra that he didn't have that big smile on his face or telling one of his jokes. Summers County will not be the same without him, it was a privilege to work with him the last 15 years. I will truly miss my friend.

I am so sorry to learn of Dr. Andy Chhabra's death. He was a wonderful colleague and an outstanding physician. It is not enough to say that he will be missed. He served the people of Hinton with great devotion and loving kindness. He cared deeply for those who entrusted their care to him.

Steven, I am so very sorry to hear of your dads passing. I never met your dad, but heard many good things about him. It was evident he was a good father, because you were always such a fine young man  in high school (and a darn good basketball player too). I will be praying for you and your family. I had the blessing to work with Dr. Chhabra recently, and although I work in KY and he was in WV, his devotion to his family, patients and community was so evident.  While traveling on an education group with him to Boston this past summer the love he spoke of his wife and sons brought joy to his eyes, and I will never forget him telling me of the love he had taking care of his patients.  I mourn the loss for his family, his ARH family and the Hinton West Virginia community.  God Bless you Dr. Chhabra.

Dr. Chhabra was a wonderful man and physician. He always had a smile on his face and a great sense of humor. So many people will miss him including me. My prayer is that God will comfort the family and friends of this good man.
