Edward Meador

LEWISBURG — Edward "Eddie" Lee Meador, 77, of Lewisburg, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at his home following a sudden illness. Born November 4, 1937 in Meade he was the son of the late Howard and Ella Plumley Meador. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Bobby Ray Meador and his two sisters Joan and Rita Meador. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 54 years Sharon Meador; his son Douglas Meador and wife Cherolyn, his daughter Dianna Tucker and her husband Bill; his six grandchildren Alexandria, Hunter, and Jade Meador, Emma, Chase, and Jackson Tucker; two brothers David “Butch” Meador and his wife Debra, and Richard Meador; a special niece Heather and a special nephew Chris. Services will be Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Friends may gather with the family from 5 p.m. until service Thursday at the funeral home.
