Ellen Joyce (Haney) Norman, age 91, of Daniels, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Raleigh Center Nursing Home. She was born on June 1, 1927 in Grandview, WV, daughter of the late Thomas Smith Haney and Maddy Jane Ennis Haney. She was a long time resident of Grandview, WV.
Joyce was a life-long member of Grandview Christian Church. She married William Norman who preceded her in death on November 2, 1982.
She is survived by her three children, Linda Williams (Roy Williams), Carol Romage (Tim Romage), and Thomas Norman (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Jennifer Williams, Jeffrey Williams, Daniel Romage (Heather), and Matthew Romage; great-grandson, Nathan Romage. She was faithful to her Lord and family all of her 91 years of life and treasured time spent with her family.
She had worked at the 4H Lake Camp and as a seamstress for Beckley Awning sewing for local businesses. Her interests included sewing and flowering gardening.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Grandview Christian Church. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am at Grandview Christian Church. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley.
