

Eunice Arlene Cook Keaton Cragett, age 89 of Crab Orchard, passed away on September 29, 2015, following a long illness. Born December 13, 1925 in Slab Fork, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Ocie Cook of Hotchkiss. She was a member of the Glen View Independent Baptist Church in Glen View, WV. Mrs. Cragett worked at Beckley Manufacturing for 17 years. She was a homemaker, loved gardening, flowers, sewing and quilting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Allen Keaton, who was killed in World War II; her second husband, James Cragett, Sr.; sister, Irma Keaton, and three brothers, Donald, Orville, and Randall. She will sadly be missed by her three children, Roger Keaton and wife, Janice of Daniels, Mary Butterworth and husband, Roger of Beckley, and James “Crickett” Cragett, Jr. of Crab Orchard; six grandchildren, Lanette Weeks of Beaver, WV, Heather Radford and husband, Shawn of Beaver, WV, Karen Fair and husband, Doug of Atlanta, GA, Lonnie Fink of Huntington, WV, Kelli Jo of Lakeland, FL, Michele Severt and husband Dave of Daniels, WV and twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Acord of Hotchkiss and Phyllis and husband, Ron of Jacksonville, FL; five brothers, Harold Cook and wife, Mary of Pittsburg, PA, James Cook and wife, Marcella of Shady Spring, WV, Frank Cook of Beckley, Ralph Cook and wife, Pat of Dothan, AL and David Cook and wife, Susan of Rantorel, IL and her dear friends, Georgia Brewer of Eccles, and Carolyn Adkins of Mabscott. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 2, 2015 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Duane Pease officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Grandsons, family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
