Eunice Elizabeth Rife stepped into the Promised Land on Friday, March 19, 2021. Born to the late John William “Clyde” and Anna Mae Steele Belcher in 1933, she was the last remaining member of their family.
Eunice Is survived by her sons, Rick (Robin) Rife and Thurmond “Buddy” Rife; her daughter, Judy Radford Hatfield (George); her daughters-in-law, Rhonda Rife and Patsy Rife. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Rife; sons, Larry Rife and Randy Rife; grandchildren, Kenneth Radford, Randi Rife and Christian Rife; her brothers, John “Dick” Lilly, Bill Belcher, Carl Belcher, Ben Belcher, Walter “Tony” Belcher, Jack Belcher; and sisters, Ruth Clark, Pauline Walker, Beulah Jean Frye and Charlene Hufford.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 26, 2021 in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Hibbard Hatfield officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Burial will follow the services in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens and honoring Mrs. Rife as pallbearers will be her family and friends.
