In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Brenda Meadows, Greg Meadows and Robert Meadows. Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings Colton Meadows and wife, Debbie, Jerry Meadows and wife, Patti, Donna Mann and husband, Jim, Barbara Workman and husband, Dennis, Sonya Smith and her late husband, Rusty, and Margaret Meadows; her many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly; and her special friend, Vicky Roles.
Eva was known by her family as “the Aunt.” She retired after 20 years from the Unites States Army. She was a giving person to everyone she knew and loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a passion for football, always cheering for the underdog. Eva enjoyed working in her yard and had a love for animals, especially her pet, “Buddy”.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Rozell officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow the service in the Garden of the Last Supper of Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
