Mr. Everette "Danny" Richmond

He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 4th, 2025 after a short illness.

Danny is healthy now, having a wonderful time in Heaven with his family that was waiting for him. Danny was truly loved by his entire family, especially his loving wife of almost 50 years, Sherry Richmond.

In addition to his parents, Danny is preceded in death by aunts that helped raise him, Macie (Manuel) Farruggia, Molly Mullins, Betty (Junior) Hensley, and by a sister, Kathy Lilly.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sherry Richmond; Daughters, Brandy, and Carmela (Sean) Akers; grandchildren, Manny Sargent, whom he loved like a son, Ryder and Harleigh Akers, all of Rhodell; Lois Wall, a special aunt; Earnest (Gail) Dunford, who was like a brother; Tammy Yearout, who was like a sister.

Danny's crew of boys he loved as bonus kids include Gary (Renae) Mills, Paul (Delila) Wilson, Cody (Amber) Wilson, and a brother-in-law, Eddie Lilly; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

There will be a graveside service for Danny on Friday, May 9th, 2025 at 1PM at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Ronnie Wood officiating.

Manny Sargent, Gary Mills, Travis Mills, Chris Mills, Paul Wilson, and Cody Wilson will serve as pallbearers.
