Frances worked as a legal secretary for a number of years in Beckley. She was a previous member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dwight Bowers, daughter Melanie Hopkins, and a number of other family members.
She is survived by her daughter Michelle Acord of Sophia, grandchildren Dylan Ray Lilly, John Ryan Hopkins, Brooklyn Paige Litton, several siblings and extended family members.
Services for Frances will be held on Tuesday February 4, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may gather with the family from 12:00 pm until service time. Frances will then be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
