She was born on January 16, 1936, to Julia Rogusky Norkevitz and Enoch Norkevitz. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
All her friends knew how much she enjoyed her favorite pass-time of going to estate and yard sales. She made many friends while selling at flea markets around Beckley and at Pence Springs with her husband Fritz and their two dogs, Smokey and Chocolate. She sold at the flea markets for 20+ years and had lots of great memories.
She was proud of living in Prosperity and was a cornerstone planner and supporter of the
Prosperity Reunion for years and always enjoyed seeing everyone that attended.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fritz, her parents, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy “Jo Jo”, son in law Steve, several nieces & nephews, and the numerous friends she made while yard selling and flea marketing in WV and during her time in Yuma Arizona.
There will be a memorial service Celebrating the life of Frances “Patsy” at the Blue Ridge Mausoleum #2 Chapel of Peace on June 18, 2026, at 1:00PM.
Family and friends will continue to share and reflect memories following the service at the Dry Hill-Prosperity Community Center, 1829 Maxwell Hill Road, Beckley.
