Geraldine (Jerri) Wood, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, in Bridgewater VA. She was born in Charleston WV and was a 1947 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Beckley.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 yrs, Earl J. Wood; her sister, Janet Coffman and her brother, Lindy Bowling.
She is survived by her three children, Stephen Wood (Laura) of Louisville KY, Pamela McDevitt (Edd) of Charleston WV, and Patricia Burlingame (Peter) of St. Thomas USVI; five grandchildren, Matthew Wood, Sarah Wood, Kaitlin McDevitt, Anne O’Donohugh and Gwen McDevitt and six great-grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Services are scheduled 2:00PM Sunday July 20, 2014 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with burial to follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
Friends may gather with the family from 1:00PM until time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
