

Born October 28th, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is the son of the late Vincent and Ann Malone.
In his younger days, he played football, was an avid hunter, and marksman. He enjoyed watching college football, especially Penn State, where he attended.
Jerry served 4 years in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam conflict. He is also a service officer and chaplain at the VFW Post 4326.
He enjoys rock and roll and dancing, attending renaissance fairs, where he often dressing as a wizard, and also enjoyed playing D&D. He is a avid reader, particularly of Steven King, and also The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkein.
Jerry is was a devout Christian who is was spiritual, but not particularly religious.
He loves to travel in his free time.
Jerry has a special place in his heart, as he loves his family and friends, of which he had many.
In addition to his parents, Gerard was preceded in death by his wife Judy, a son Paul, and a brother Vince.
Those left to cherish his memory include his 4 children, Karen Burgess (Roger), of Laceyville, PA, Brian Malone (Gloria) of Lester WV, Patrick Malone (Lillian) of Hiawatha, WV, and Daniel Malone (January) of Manilla, Philippines; twin brothers Bernard Malone (Rose), and John Malone of Athens, PA; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and one on the way; and well as a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral Services for Jerry will be on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 at 3PM at Lester Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors one hour prior. Burial will follow at Lester Cemetery.
