Gladys Marie Blankenship, 94, of Midway, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at her home. Born on April 4, 1924 in Asco, WV, she was the daughter of late Aldie C. Bishop and Elizabeth England Bishop.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Herman J. Blankenship; sister, Dora E. Mullins; and brothers, Ralph Bishop and Everett Bishop.
She is survived by her daughter, Fleasia Penningtion (Charles) of Beaver; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00 pm, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Jess Farley officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
