Jason Roscoe Gill

Jason R. Gill, was born, October 19, 1972 and lived his entire life in Stanaford, WV. He sadly departed this world unexpectedly on January 3, 2015. He was of the Christian Faith.

Jason is survived by his two girls, Hayley and Jalynn Gill both at home; his mother, Sharon Smith and husband, Jerry of Sandstone; his father, Johnny Gill and wife, Gaye of Forest Hill; brothers, Shawn Bowyer and wife, Mackenzie of Stanaford, Johnny Ray Gill and wife, Amber of Cleveland, OH and Robert Bowyer and wife, Amy of Falling Waters; sister, Lisa Fernandez and husband Fredrick of Oak Hill. He also leaves behind a step-brother, Jason and step-sisters, Tammy, Beverly, Jerilyn and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Velda Sears; paternal grandparents, Roscoe and Pauline Gill; an infant brother, and his step-father, Frank Bowyer.

Jason was a vintage car enthusiast and loved working on his “69” Camaro. He loved working on stuff and spending time outdoors. He was a loving father, a great son, brother, uncle and friend. He was loved by all that came into contact with him.

Services to celebrate the life of Jason R. Gill will be held 12:00PM Thursday, January 8, 2014 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Adam Davis officiating. Following the services Jason will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

The family would like to invite all who knew him to come and gather with them to celebrate his life from 11:00AM until time of the service Thursday at funeral home.
