Scott was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandpa, and uncle whose life was grounded in faith, family, and hard work. He enjoyed the simple things most—time outdoors hunting and fishing, and working with his hands through his passion for carpentry. Scott took pride in creating and fixing things, a reflection of the steady, capable man he was.
Faith was a constant throughout Scott’s life. He maintained a strong belief in God and leaned especially on that faith during his time at home, finding comfort and peace in his relationship with the Lord.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Mary Ann Ball.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Bobbi Ball; His sons, Jesse (Morgan) Ball and Scott’s granddaughters: Addeline and Kinsley Ball of Cool Ridge WV, and Aaron (Haley) Ball of Oak Hill WV; his brother, Kevin (Dina) Ball and their daughters Michaela Ball of Coolville Ohio and Chelsea (Ryan) Toscano and their daughter Dakota Toscano of Colorado; Sister in law Kim (Dave) Wolfe and their daughter Morgan (Lucas) Whittaker and their three sons: Bodhie, Dylan, and Colton Whittaker of Flat Top, West Virginia; Uncle Benny (Tudy) Halstead and their daughter Mechelle Halstead; Uncle John (Judy) Estep of Uneeda, WV and cousin Kim Peters of Winchester, KY.
He is also remembered fondly by extended family and friends whose lives he touched.
Scott’s legacy lives on through his family, the work of his hands, and the faith he carried with him always. He will be deeply missed, but his family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace and in the presence of the Lord.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Hospice of Southern WV for their services during this time.
Scott's celebration of life will be held at LifeSpring Church of Cool Ridge, WV on Sunday February 15th 2026 at 2:00.
