Jessie Derene Brown, 69 of Sand Branch, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016. She is preceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Dot Rice; brother, David L. Rice; and son, Jeffrey A. Brown. She is survived by her loving husband, Clayton Allen Brown; her children: Dedee (Max) Summerville, Christy (Mark) Donell, Terry (Tonyae) Smith, Heather Smith, Tabitha (Ron), Hallum, and Clayton (Susan) Brown. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Mark, Kadie, Colby, Christopher, Jessica, Rebecca, Halie, Kassidy, and Samantha; great-grandchildren: Rylan, Grayson, Lexi, Brayden, Jaycee, Dawson, and Dominic; sister, Debbra (Johnnie) Gamble; and sister-in-law, Brenda Rice. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Derene’s name to your favorite charity.
