I called him “Uncle Johnny” and he called me “my niece”. We had many great conversations together. We had our mini Bible studies, discussed politics, and gardening. I tried to get him to come to Atlanta to visit his sister so that I could take him fishing. I’m sorry we won’t be able to go fishing now but I will remember his beautiful smile and sense of humor. And most of all his commitment to his family. He loved you all so much.
I’m praying for you all. May God comfort you and strengthen you.

Sympathy goes out to the family. John was a great loving kind person all through high school and there after. My prayers and God’s blessing give to each of the family members the strength to survive and live with your loss in your own way. To Patty May God bless you.
