I had known John for many years, as I lived on Ragland Road and grew up knowing most people in that area and also Stanaford. John helped teach me learn how to drive at 15 years old, along with my mother. Knew him for many years, very nice guy. May you rest in peace, sweet friend.

I hate to hear of Johnny's passing. Although, I haven't seen or talked with Johnny in years, I will never forget the good times that he Frankie & myself had as next door neighbors. Although he was 6 years older, he was a good friend. We spent a lot of time throwing ball in the backyard and I thought I was cool when he would take me for a ride in his car. The years have passed us, but the memories will always remain. RIP Johnny.

John always loved me and my kids. He loved to pick on Samantha about her potatoes head doll and he would just enjoy egging Stephen on. 😊 So sorry for everyone’s loss. Our prayers are with all of you.

My heart is just broken. I’m so sorry to see Mr McGuire has passed. Loved visiting with you all so much!! He had some great stories. Always looked forward to seeing you all. Had nothing to do with Lois’ pb fudge and pb cake. Lois, there are no words that anyone can say to ease your pain. Have faith that he’s watching over you and telling stories with those who have also left us too soon. Hugs and prayers.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with all the family during these trying times. Big John was always good to us, a mischievous/funny guy and will certainly be missed. He has suffered so much for the past four years and now he is at peace.
