Keith Linton Boggess, 67, of Beckley passed away Monday, October 27, 2014. Born April 20, 1947, he was the son of the late Carl and Susie Loring Boggess. Keith enjoyed cutting gem stones and making jewelry. He loved fishing, hunting and collecting guns. He was a 1965 graduate of Winfield High School. Keith worked for Bayer Crop Sciences and also Allied Chemical. In addition to his parents, Keith is preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Boggess. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Viva Griffith Boggess of Beckley; daughters, Angela Page and husband, Ernie of Hurrincane, Sara Boggess of Charleston; son, Matt Boggess of Belle; sister, Donna Sanderson and husband, Carl of Lisbon, NY; ex-wife, Linda Boggess of Hurricane and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may gather with the family Thursday from 10 – 11 Thursday at the funeral home.
