

Kenny graduated from Mullens High School in 1970, following graduation he worked in many careers and fields. He was a welder for Joy Manufacturing, a coal miner at Itmann Coal Company, and retiring as District Manager with the Charleston Gazette. After retiring he sold insurance with several insurance companies, worked at Suddenlink in Beckley, and the One Stop in Shady Spring. During his free time he loved playing tennis and spending time with his family.
He will be reunited with his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Kenny Ray Stover II (Rebecca), Daniel Ray Stover, Kenton Gray Stover, grandsons, Kenny Ray Stover III (Anna), Jacob Stover, granddaughters, Arianna Stover, Shaeley Stover, Sunshine Stover, Brilynne Stover, great grandchildren, Gracelyn Stover, Lilyanna Stover, and Braden Dust, sisters; Brenda Stover (David), Sharon Kay Keaton (Charles), Donna Ward (Robert), Becky Halsey (Herb), brother, DJ Stover (April), Aunt Dorothy Gray, Uncle Herbert Stover, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Graveside Rites will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 1 PM with his son Kenny Ray Stover II officiating at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Lloyd Wolfe III, John Keaton, Robert Ward III, Mark Ward, Kenny Stover II and Bill Gibson.
