Lawrence Holbert Graham Jr.

Lawrence H. Graham Jr., age 71, of Beaver, went to Heaven with angel escorts on July 24, 2019. Born on January 27, 1948, he was the son of the late Lawrence (Bud) Graham Sr. and Frances Ballard Graham. He was preceded in death by his 2 sons Lawrence H. (Larry) Graham III and Samuel Jason (Sammy) Graham, his parents, father and mother in-laws Sam and Marilyn Colagrosso of Kimberly.

Lawrence went to Mullens High School and graduated from WV Tech in Montgomery, WV. He owned J&L Contractors and did carpentry work. He also taught at Stratton Jr. High School. His favorite Bible Verse was John 3:16. He was a born again devout Christian and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene on Johnstown Road in Beckley.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 51 years, Mary Jo Colagrosso Graham of Beaver; J. W. Clemons and wife Krystal; sister in law Bonnie Colagrosso of Kimberly; 3 grandsons Dylan Graham of PA, Matthew Lawrence Graham, and Tyler Hughes of Weston; niece Erica (Chris) Gourley and their children Mirabella Dibllio and Hudson Gourley of Columbus, OH; niece Ashley (Blake) McRae and their children Dahlia and Woodrow McRae of GA.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Blue Ridge Funeral Home and Crematorium. Burial arrangements will take place at a later date at the Graham Cemetery in Bason, WV.
