Frank was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening, and enjoyed spending time with his boys and grandkids; and was happiest when he was with family and friends on the trout stream.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Teenie Holtzapfel and brothers Bobby Holtzapfel and Everett Holtzapfel.
Those left to cherish his memory include his two sons, Michael Holtzapfel and wife Christie of Stanaford, Chris Holtzapfel and wife Michelle of Sophia; one granddaughter, Hope McDaniel and husband Shane of Piney View; three grandsons, Austin Holtzapfel of Morgantown, Gunner Holtzapfel and Seth Holtzapfel, both of Sophia; and two great-granddaughters, Hadley and Elsie McDaniel. He also had a very special friend, Rick Pavlik.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
