Born August 8, 1954 at Tuscaloosa, AL; she was a daughter of the late William R. Thomas and the late Nellie Jeanette Hewett.
Linda graduated from Senn High School; she loved sewing, quilting, crocheting, watching Charlie Chan black and white movies, and reading. Linda worked as a Book Keeper for Cedar Realty for over 20 years.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Battles, father William R. Thomas, and her mother Nellie Jeanette Hewett.
Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter Cassie (Christopher) Jaquet, Son Fred (Laura) Wills III, Webster (Misty) B. Wills; her sisters Wendy Kendrick and Faye Towe; her brothers Dennis Huddgins, Henry Huddgins; her grandchildren Morgan (Dylan) Mullins-Tomblin, Elizabeth (Michael) Terry, Hunter Jaquet, Gage Jaquet, Lillianna Wills, Fred Wills IV, Skylar Wills, Kelsey Moore, and Byron Moore; her great-grandchildren Nevaeh Mullins, Kaelyn Mullins, Brinlee Mullins, and Enrique Wills.
Cremation will take place at a later date.
