Linda Diane Nicklas

Linda Diane Nicklas, 75 of Beaver, WV went to her heavenly home on Saturday, August 28, 2021.

Linda was born in Blue Jay, WV to Billy Richmond and Inez Pigg Richmond on October 24, 1945.  She was a 1963 High School graduate of Shady Spring High School.

After High School she married her high school sweetheart, Everette Gravely and they moved to Parkersburg, WV and started their family.  Linda worked summers at Richmond Cleaners while Everette attended summer classes at Concord College.

In 1970 Everette and Linda parted ways and Linda moved back to the Beckley area.  In 1975 she met her soulmate Jimmie Nicklas and became a housewife and cared for their five children.

Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Jimmie Nichlas; both of her parents; her brother Richard Richmond and her son in law William Summers Jr.

Linda is survived by her 5 children, James (Sharon) Gravely of Charlotte, NC, Frank (Dee) Gravely of Fort Mill, SC, Everette (Joni) Gravely of Salisbury, NC, Dianna (RIP William) of Shady Spring, WV, and Leigh Ann (Daniel) of Beaver, WV.  She was also survived by 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren that are due in September 2021 and December 2021 as well as so many that seen her as Momma and Grandma.

Brandon, Jake, James Jr., Ales, Will, and Daniel Jr. will serve as pallbearers.

Service will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm.  Friends may gather with the family from 1:00pm to service time.  Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

My heart is broken Linda and I were thicker than all get out during high School you see one you'd see the other one may God bless your family I don't know what to say don't know what to do about I'm broken hearted
