Lonnie enjoyed fishing with his children, shooting with family, along with going on roadtrips with his wife Lonnie enjoyed watching his son play soccer and run cross country He also loved to watch his daughter dance in the Nutcracker, recitals and festivals she's competed in.
Born on February 28, 1972 he was the son to Diane Adkins and the late Virgil L. Adkins.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ian Davis, Nina Adkins; along with many other family members.
Those left to cherish Lonnie's memory include his wife of over 24 years, Stephanie Adkins; Son, Tyler Adkins; daughter, Emily Adkins; mother, Diane Adkins; sister, Pam Adkins; brother, Robie Adkins.
Lonnie was a dedicated Security Officer at Raleigh General Hospital and loved everyone he worked with.
With keeping with Lonnie's wish he will be cremated.
