Louella Wrenn

Louella Wrenn, 91, of Sophia went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Saturday February 9, 2019. She was born on December 17, 1927 in Belfry, KY to the late Alvie Large and Victoria Chapman Large. Louella was preceded in death by her husband Edward E. Wrenn, four brothers Denny Large, Arthur Ray Large, Richard Large, and Pat “Buckie” Large, a sister Mary Aldridge, three grandchildren Eddie Ross, Matthew Wrenn, and Angela Wrenn, and son-in-law Denver Carter. Those left to cherish her memory are: daughter Carol Carter of Macarthur, daughter Brenda Ross and husband Ernie of Sophia, son Larry Wrenn and wife Linda of Amigo, son Howard Wrenn and wife Vicky of Corinne, son David Wrenn of Sophia, daughter Pamela Kidd and husband Anthony of Beaver, 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren. And countless nieces and nephews. Anyone who knew Louella knows she kept a smile on her face and her last words were “I’m happy”. She will be sadly missed, but we know she is reunited with her loved ones and our loss is Heavens gain. Thank you to Raleigh General and Bowers Hospice House for the wonderful care they provided. Arrangements by Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday February 13 at 12pm with the visitation beginning at 11am. Rev. Mickey Mitchell and Rev. Kenneth Clark will be officiating and burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Chapmanville, WV. Pallbearers will be Chad Buzminsky, James Helton, Justin Walker, Roger Kidd, Tyler Kidd, and Bryan Kidd.
