

Lucille was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family and community. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Bertha Bruce; her husband, "Golden" Pearl Golden Armstrong; her daughter, Sharon Bailey; and her son, Donald Armstrong. She is survived by her sons, James E Armstrong, Curtis Armstrong and his wife Diana, and Ricky Armstrong and his wife TC. Her daughter-in-law, Alice Armstrong, also survives her. Lucille leaves behind a legacy of love in her grandchildren, Angela, Alisha, Daniel, Jamie, Shawn, Donnie, Jeremiah, Lakota, Storm, Willow, Donald, Brandy, Billy, and Nicole, as well as several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Lucille found joy in personal interests such as jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, card games, and tending to flowers. Her love for her church and church family was evident, and she was a cherished member of the Fayetteville Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held at the Fayetteville Baptist Church in Fayetteville, West Virginia, on December 17, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Services will be officiated by Pastor Andy Kiddle. Burial will take place at Huse Memorial Park in Fayetteville, West Virginia, on the same day.
Lucille B Armstrong will be remembered for her warmth, dedication, and the love she shared with her family and community.
