I went to grade school at Lincoln Elementary and Sunday school at First Methodist in Beckley, in the 1960's, with Lynne and her sister, Jennifer. Lynne was a year older than me and Jennifer was a year younger. I remember her as being friendly and fun. I've always remembered this pretty green dress she used to wear... I'm sorry to read about her passing, and I am sad for her family.

I am saddened by the passing of Lynne, but happy knowing she is no longer in pain, no longer bound by the illnesses she endured. There are never any right words to say at a time such as this.
One thing about "Tootie" was once you met her, you never forgot her. Even though she battled here, she always had a funny story to tell. We would laugh so hard sometimes, it was hard for her to finish up the story she was sharing.
Thanks Jennifer (Dawg) for introducing me to your family and sharing them with me. I am proud to be an "honorary" Ward.
Mandy
