On March 27, 2020, the Heavenly gates opened to welcome our precious Marie Joyce Bailey. Marie “Maw Maw” was so special to everyone, she always welcomed you with a smile and never left her house hungry!
Marie enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Alford Jackson Bailey.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Diana (Blair) Taylor, Nancy (Andrew) Snow, Alford Jackson “Jack” Bailey II (Christine), and Sharon (Kenneth) Dickens. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Blair Taylor II, Jeremy Taylor, Jackie Treadway, Eric Brammer, Andy Snow II and Mark Snow; several great grandchildren, Aiden and Jaylah Treadway, Gabbie, Brandi, Collin and Gracie Taylor.
Burial will take place at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 1pm.
