Martha Jane Clark

Born July 16, 1951, in Bolt, she was a daughter of the late Henderson Payton Griffith and the late Hattie Irene Goff Griffith.

Martha loved playing on her tablet, playing poker, working puzzles, and watching Days of Our Lives; but most of all she enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Acord; grandson, Ayden Cooper; and four siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughters, Amber Davis and husband, Johnathon of Harper, Marsha Haggerty and husband, Kevin of Pax, and Laura Gardner and husband, Moe of Thurmond; grandchildren, Dalton Acord, Conner Cooper, Destiny Griffith, Paisley Howington, and Abel Davis; great-granddaughter, Hensleigh Acord; 9 brothers and sisters; her companion, Ronnie Clark of Harper; extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Martha Jane Clark will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Pastor Kenneth Clark officiating. Following the services, Martha will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

Friends may gather with the family from 12:00 PM until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
