Nancy Thompson

Born July 13, 1939 in Ruby Falls, TN. Nancy was a member of Cranberry Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, watching tv, cooking and being with her family and friends. She had worked as a nurse anesthetist.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Lillian Krailo.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Harry R. Thompson of Meadow Creek; step-daughters, Barbara K. Stone and husband James of Meadow Bridge, and Shelma Ward and husband Jackie of Meadow Creek; brothers, Walter Ratcliff of OH, and Danny Ratcliff of TN; sister, Janice Shotts of PA; six step grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may gather with the family, Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 12-1pm at Cranberry Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 1pm at the church with Rev. Roger E. Pauley officiating.

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with family and friends to serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Hospice of Southern WV, po box 1472, Beckley, WV 25802.
