Naomi Luoni

Naomi Ruth (Ball) Luoni, 85, of Beckley, died on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Raleigh General Hospital. Born on September 26, 1932 in Winfield, WV, she was one of five children of the late Leslie and Gertrude Haldren Ball.

Mrs. Luoni was a wonderful wife and mother who loved her family. With her strong devotion in Christian faith she found great strength and comfort with her Lord and Savior. She was an avid golfer who loved the great state of West Virginia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Bill Luoni. She is survived by her sons, Gregory Luoni and his wife, Maria of Charlotte, NC, Michael Luoni of Beckley, and Rick Luoni and his wife, Katrena of Orlando, FL; six grandchildren, Joshua, Jason, Brandon, Cody, Will and Sophia; and three great-grandchildren, Liam, Henry and Ava.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon, November 28, 2017 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:30 p.m. with the Reverend Rick Luoni officiating. Burial will follow in the Crucifix Garden of Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
