

Navada Hurd Angle, 87 years of age, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Bowers Hospice House. Born on December 11, 1930 in Arndale, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Amos F. Hurd and Virgie Mae Gibson Hurd.
Ms. Angle attended Stotesbury Community Church, a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW 4326 and a member of the Order of the Moose since 1984. She loved bowling, crocheting and visiting with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded death by her ex-husband, Sherman Angle, Jr.; daughter, Sharon E. Angle Carte; sisters, Agnes Akers, Lois Treadway and Kenova Dancy; brothers, Ralph Hurd, Glen Elmo Hurd and Elgie Hurd; and special friend, Harry Walter Perkowski.
She is survived by sons, Michael Angle, and Gary Angle and his wife, Rebecca Darlene; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; sisters, Versa Painter and Joyce Edmonds; brother, Newton Tandy Hurd and his wife, Clara; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Shawna McKinney.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesday evening, February 7, 2018 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2018 in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.
Pallbearers honoring Ms. Angle will be family and friends.
