She was a graduate of Shady Spring High School, Concord College, and the University of Colorado. While she was a resident of Westminster, Colorado, her commitment to shaping and caring for young minds began with the Raleigh County Board of Education, WV, and then retiring from the Boulder Valley School District, CO. Her love of the Lord was evident in the countless lives she blessed. She dearly loved her Westminster Calvary Church family. Neida was always up for leading others on adventures as a rafting guide and had a passion for volleyball, playing, coaching, and refereeing. She was an avid sports fan supporting her Rockies and Broncos through thick and thin while also equally cheering on her Mountaineers and Buffalos unless they played each other on a given Saturday. Neida devoted her retirement years to lovingly caring for our parents, Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Gross of Daniels, WV, until their passing.
She will be sadly missed by her sisters; Ellen Moye (Skip) of Dayton, OH; Milissa Meador (Eddie) of Monroe, NC; Milinda Morrison (David) of Beaver, WV; her nieces, nephews, and their respective families; Mike Moye, Marc Moye, Amanda (Moye) Whitsel, Jason Meador, Devin Morrison, Erika (Morrison) Blankenship, and Demi (Morrison) Martin.
In lieu of floral arrangements and due to her love for the Lord, we ask that any donations in her name be made to The Joshua Fund (joshuafund.com) or Samaritan’s Purse (samaritanspurse.org). A celebration of life will occur at Westminster Calvary in April 2026, and a memorial service with interment will occur at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, date pending (May/June).
