Onnie Marie Dickerson

Marie was born on December 21, 1926 in Bud Mountain, WV to Floyd Lane and Louvenia Lusk. She married Willie Dickerson JR. on January 20,1946 and raised 6 beautiful and loving children. She was a devoted homemaker and wife. Marie was a child of God; she enjoyed singing, writing and being with nature but, above all spending time with her family. Marie lived a full life of beauty and memories with her family.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband Willie Dickerson Jr, son Willie Dickerson III, parents Floyd Lane, Louvenia Lane-Bell, Virgil Bell; Daughter in-law Dot Dickerson, grandson Scott Washington, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

Survived by brother Orville Bell, brother in-law Ted Stanley, sister in-law Billy Lane, 5 children; Darrell Dickerson, Drema Roberts (Jim), Barbara Cadle (Dale), Larry Dickerson, Darlene Washington (Dan); daughter in-law Tammy Dickerson. 14 grandchildren; Cindi Broda (Russ), Robert Austin (Jenny), Kandace Belcher, Chris Dickerson (Amber), Billy Austin (Kerri), Jason Mills, Jennifer Shamblin (Matt), Kelly Cutcher, Patty Shrewsberry, Eddie Farley, Doug Farley, Pamela Farley, Lori Silverio, JR Ward; 25 great grandchildren; Sage, Deacon, Brittney (Baylor), Amber, Savanna, Marcus, Jayden, Zoie, Natalija,14 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 1 pm - 2 pm with a funeral service to begin at 2 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. If you attend the family politely requests that you wear a mask. In lieu of flowers Marie requests that donations may be made to Guyandotte Baptist Church, 7672 Wild Fork Rd. Herndon, WV 24726.
