Philip Duane Oliver, 63 of Mabscott, passed away, Tuesday, April 19, 2016. He was the son of the late William Oliver and Weda Phillips Oliver. Born June 17, 1952 in Beckley, WV. Philip was a very kind hearted person who enjoyed spending time with his friends and his dog, Muffin. He enjoyed bowling. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Sherwood. Those left to cherish his memory includes his son, Todd Oliver; brother Bill Oliver and wife Sharon of MN; sisters, Nancy Tyree of NC, Glenna Pavkovich of FL and Ella Saums of IL. Friends may gather with the family Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 6-8pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Glen Kuhn Officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
