Rachel “Dallas” Bolen left this world on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the age of 50. Born July 26, 1975 to Arthur Thomas Risner and Gail Lorraine Risner, Rachel lived a life bursting with creativity, laughter, and love.
If you knew Rachel, you knew her quick wit, her fearless originality, and the way she could make you laugh even on the hardest days. She poured her heart into her crochet studio, Something Wicked Fiber Art and More, where her hands turned simple yarn into magic—spiders with personalities, dresses crafted with love and without a pattern, portraits that captured a soul, and dolls so original they seemed born from dreams only she could dream. She didn’t just make things—she brought ideas to life.
Rachel’s love for animals was endless, especially for her loyal canine companions Lucy and Molly, who were rarely more than a step behind her.
She is survived by her siblings Jerald Risner, Tomi Risner, Nancy Risner, James Risner, and Juanita Martin; her daughters Shannalee Stines and Morgan Kindelan; and her grandchildren Madilynn Kindelan, Makelle Kindelan, Misla-Mahryn Kindelan, Lakyn Stines, Adasyn Stines, Axl Stines, and Walker Stines. They—and the countless friends whose lives she touched—will remember her humor, her artistry, and her fierce, beautiful spirit.
Rachel’s story will be told in the pieces she made, the laughter she sparked, and the love she gave so freely. She will be missed beyond words and remembered beyond measure.
