He was a graduate of the class of 1972 at Sophia High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobart and Opal Bragg of Midway, and three brothers Junie Bragg of Cleveland, OH, Gerald Bragg of Coal City, and Jackie Bragg of Midway, and his sister Mary Ann Maxey of Crab Orchard.
He is survived by his daughter Renee Roark and her husband Anthony Roark of Beckley, his son Randy Bragg and his wife Cindy Bragg of Crab Orchard, and his grandchildren Calista Roark, Caleb Roark and his wife Olivia Roark, Paris Webb, Lily Bragg and Journie Bragg. He is also survived by his sister Hilda Forren and her children, and sister-in-law Bonnie Bragg and her children from Cleveland, Ohio.
Born with a love for the great outdoors, Randall spent countless hours hunting, fishing, and spending time at his river camp.
Randall dedicated many years of hard work to Affinity Coal Mines, where he was known for his strong work ethic and camaraderie with his colleagues. His contributions to the mining community were significant, and his presence will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Randall found great pleasure in watching cowboy films and shows and loved going to flea markets. His love for wrestling extended beyond mere spectating, as he took on the role of a coach, guiding and mentoring young athletes with dedication and enthusiasm.
Above all, Randall treasured his family. He relished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion.
Randall is survived by his beloved family, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts. His life was a testament to the simple joys of nature, the value of hard work, and the profound love of family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Midway First Church of God on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 6 o’clock p.m. with Bro. Rick Walker officiating.
