Relda P. Kincaid

After graduating high school, she married Carl C. Kincaid with whom she shared 70 blissful years of marriage before his passing in 2023. Together they raised their two boys and got to experience being not only loving parents, but grandparents and great-grandparents. Relda loved being a mother, she enjoyed the life of a homemaker and being there for her family. She loved the duties the role came with, keeping a tidy home, a lovely flower garden, cooking for her loved ones, and doing all the yardwork herself, even the weed-eating. As a devout Christian, she believed it was the purpose God had given her and she excelled at it. She was also a member of the Prosperity Church of Christ where her husband pastored and made it a point to attend every service she could when she was able.

Relda was preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Bonnie Blake and her husband Carl C. Kincaid. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Terry Kincaid and Pernelle Kincaid, grandchildren Terry Danzle Kincaid, Jesse Allen Kincaid, Jessica Kincaid-Leasor (Justin), and great-grandchildren Cody Kincaid, Preston Kincaid, J.P. Leasor, and Jensen Leasor.

Services by Pastor Vernon Sears will begin at 2:30pm, Friday January 23, 2026, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Friends are encouraged to join the family before the service at 2:00pm. After the services she will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens next to her beloved husband.
