Richard was employed as a sheet metal worker.
In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Martha Stafford; brother, Roger Stafford and sister, Mary Stafford.
Those left to cherish his memory include, daughter, Melissa Clay and husband, Kyle; son, Richard Stafford, Jr. and wife, Rose Marie; daughters, Kathy Stafford, Joyce Stafford; granddaughter, Kadie; grandsons, Chase, Tyler, Kyle Jr.; sisters, Edna Stafford, Opal Bailey; brothers, Bobby Stafford and wife Lynn, James Stafford, Jr. and wife, Margaret.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Richard will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 1 – 2 PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley.
